BBF Branding Bangladesh Virtual SUMMIT 2020 ends

A think-tank and a development organization “Better Bangladesh Foundation -BBF” in collaboration with “BBF global” have organized “BBF BRANDING BANGLADESH Virtual SUMMIT-2020” in a view to attracting the positive image of Bangladesh locally and globally .
As we all know, Bangladesh has earned global reputation in Family Planning, Immunization Programme, Women Empowerment,
Agriculture, Primary Education, Health care and Information Technology. Bangladesh’s Disaster Preparedness has been highly appreciated worldwide. It has also proved resilience and know-how in accomplishing Comprehensive Food Security despite huge population. Presently, Bangladesh is the world 2nd largest contributor to United Nations; Peace Keeping Operations, 2nd major exporter in the apparel market, 2nd in global jute production, 3 rd in the global production of fresh water , fish, vegetable, 4 th in rice production, 7 th largest outsourcing industry, 8 th largest labour force and 11 th largest mobile phone users community. After achieving the targets of Millennium Development Goals (MDG) in almost every socio economic indicator, the country is progressing fast towards successful implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

reputation building.
Mr. Sirazul Islam, Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) has attended as Special Guest
The Summit was presided over by Professor Masud A. Khan, Chairman and Founder of Better Bangladesh Foundation and BBF Global.
His Excellency Mr. Naoki Ito, Ambassador of Japan , H.E. Dr. Banshidhar Mishra, Ambassador of Nepal, H.E. Ms. Nahida Sobhan, Bangladesh Ambassador to Jordan were present as Special Guests. Other distinguished Speakers were Mr. Abdur Rouf, JP , Chairman of Britania Group, Engineer Ghulam M. Alomgir, Chairman of MAX Group, Mr. Mahtabur Rahman, Chairman of Al Haramain Group, Mr. Rafiq Khan, CEO of BBF Global, Mr. Sazzad Rashid, MD of BBF Global.
BIDA Chairman expressed in his speech how the private sector leaders have contributed largely towards the recognition of Bangladesh all over the globe and that his office is always ready to provide any kind support for the probable investors. He confirms that Bangladesh is an attractive destination for foreign Investment.
Ambassador of Japan Mr. Ito has highly praised the people of Bangladesh calling Dhaka the most vibrant capital in the world. Also expressed that Bangladesh proved itself to be a role model for development and has assured all his cooperation from his government. Another note Japanese Ambassador Ito appreciated the great activities undertaken by BBF vibrant team locally and globally under the great leadership by its founder Prof. Masud A. Khan.
Mr. Mahbubur Rahman mentioned that in the past few years in terms of the more than 1 crore NRB, the highest number of bonds and remittance has been flowing into Bangladesh due to honourable Prime Minister’s giving incentive policy which were able to benefit many people.
Mr. Ghulam Alomgir, Chairman of Max Group shared the optimistic attitude of foreign counterparts on how their experience of Bangladesh tremendously exceeds the preliminary expectation, but expressed that Bangladesh is not properly branded and the vibrance and adaptation of people are more attention worthy.
Bangladesh Ambassador to JORDAN Nahida Sobhan said , we are trying hard to create a positive image of Bangladesh and we are seeking all support and cooperation from Bangladeshi diaspora and a think-tank like Better Bangladesh Foundation.
BBF Global Chief Coordinators from 15 to countries participated the Virtual Summit and expressed their remarks!
BBF Chairperson Masud A. Khan has sought support and cooperation from all to take the vision forward!
