Two expatriates from Dubai have been directly sent to Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital at Uttara from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport as their body temperature was higher than normal during thermal screening.
They landed at the airport on an Emirates Airlines flight on Saturday morning, confirmed the airport’s Assistant Health Officer Dr Md Zahirul Islam.
He said the body temperature of the two returnees was high during the health screening, so they were sent to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh has confirmed the detection of 24 coronavirus cases and two deaths.
